Inspire

Opening up to what AI makes possible in creative work, through concrete examples and direct contact with experts.

Experiment

Putting AI tools to the test on a creative project, in a créathon format.

Debate

Questioning the uses, the ethical stakes and the limits of these tools alongside the other participants, surrounded by experts.

The three tracks:

A common thread running through all three tracks is revealed to the teams on day one.

IAdays26 Video

Write, direct and produce a one-of-a-kind audiovisual piece with AI.

The point is not to skim the tools but to master them, in the service of a vision, a message and ideas that remain the team's own.

  • Teams of 4 to 6 people
  • 3 days online, 3–5 November
Guiding thread
Technology in the service of a vision. Mastering the models, not merely discovering them, for a finished audiovisual piece.
What the team delivers
A film of 1 to 2 minutes, any aspect ratio, with its written synopsis.
Content expert
Hadrien HansePhotographer, visual creator and teacher at IHECS
Tools
Being finalised.
IAdays26 Digital publishing

Design a short narrative publication, from the story to the printable object, with AI as a creative partner.

This is not about asking a machine for a book, but about learning to hold a dialogue with it: steering its proposals, analysing them, selecting them, transforming them.

  • Teams of 4 to 6 people
  • 3 days online, 3–5 November
Guiding thread
The place of the author. AI proposes; the human directs, chooses and transforms, all the way to the final form.
What the team delivers
A digital book as a PDF, 12 to 16 pages excluding the cover, and a logbook retracing the steps: final prompts, drawing research, how the images evolved.
Content experts
Alexandre LavalléeTeacher at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de TournaiAlexandre QuintinTeacher at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Tournai
Tools
Being finalised.
IAdays26 Production

Steer a real event project with AI, from the concept through to the production file.

Each team starts from a blank page and draws on the whole craft: concept, identity, programming, budget, logistics, partners, communication.

  • Teams of 4 to 6 people
  • 3 days online, 3–5 November
Guiding thread
Augment, do not automate. Plan, execute, review: the human stays in charge.
What the team delivers
A complete production file and a slide deck, with a 3-minute pitch presented at the closing ceremony.
Content expert
Romain BoonenAI strategy adviser and trainer, founder of Empowork Culture
Tools
Being finalised.

What you take away

From this short three-day experimentation lab you will leave with a sharper critical position on the use of AI in your creative processes, working skills and foundations in generative AI tools, and a concrete deliverable you have experimented on.

Schedule

The week, hour by hour.

Three days online, paced by training videos, Q&A sessions with the content experts and collective intelligence sessions.

Three days of creation, from 8:00 to 18:00, with continuous coaching and support.

First day of the créathon: official launch, first materials and presentation of the project intentions.

09:00

Opening ceremony

Official launch of the créathon and reveal of the theme, live on Discord.

09:30

Training videos

The day's teaching materials are made available, freely accessible.

12:00

Q&A with the content experts

Open questions from the teams, track by track.

16:30

Collective intelligence session: launching the project

Each team presents its intention and tests its choices against the others.

The platform

The whole créathon lives on Discord.

It is the structure that lets the event run in every school at once: materials, experts, support, ceremonies and teams all in one place, from the first day to the last.

  • The written materials and the methodology of each track
  • The teaching videos, released day by day
  • The content experts and support, directly reachable by every connected team
  • The ceremonies streamed live
  • The collective intelligence sessions and the side activities

Important

For participants, joining the platform is not optional.

For the créathon to run properly and for you to get the full experience, every team must have a Discord account on the event server and be active there.

The organising committee also asks you to check what restrictions your institution's firewall imposes.

Join the server

Log in once before 3 November to pick up your tool access and your team channel.

Frequently asked questions

What we are asked most often.

Do I need to know how to use AI to take part?
No. The créathon is open to every profile: no AI skills are required, only a creative sensibility. The training videos, the content experts and the support team guide the teams from the first day to the last.
Do I need to come to Liège?
The créathon takes place entirely online. The talks of the week, the research day and the closing ceremony are held in Liège and require a separate registration.
Can I register on my own?
No. Registrations are only accepted by team, 4 to 6 people from the same institution or the same company.
Are the AI tool licences included?
Yes. A licence package is allocated to each team and activated at the start of the event through Discord. The selection of tools is adjusted each year to how the field is moving.
Who owns the work created during the week?
The work belongs to the students or professionals who created it. The IAdays organising committee nevertheless reserves the right to publish it. A document setting out these terms will be sent to participants.
